With more than 30 years of commercial real estate finance experience, Mark’s career experience includes syndication, investment sales, joint-ventures and the financing of transitional and stabilized assets. He has participated in capitalizing more than 23,000 apartment units, 5 million square feet of office buildings, 3 million square feet of shopping centers and 2 million square feet of industrial and other assets classes ranging from hotels to self-storage facilities. Over the course of his career, Mark has developed an in depth knowledge of construction lending, fixed-rate insurance and CMBS debt, floating-rate bridge lending, preferred and joint-venture equity as well as the more esoteric TIC, EB5, HTC and NMTC forms of finance. However, it is not the breadth of his experience that he values most but the relationships he has developed and continues to grow with clients, mentors, colleagues and associates throughout the capital markets. Mark has a BS in economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Commerce & Finance. He is affiliated with the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the University of California, Irvine – MBA Mentor Program. Mark is licensed by Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) for Series 22 and Series 63 securities.
