Shawn Bolour

Shawn Bolour has been working in the affordable housing industry since 2011. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in acquiring or developing $200 million of affordable housing that has created or preserved over 2,000 apartment units. He has been responsible for project management, research, feasibility analysis, financial underwriting, purchase and sale negotiations, preparation of finance applications, budget tracking during construction, conversion of construction to permanent financing, and communication with staff of public entities at the local, state, and federal levels. He has overseen the acquisition and rehabilitation of numerous Section 42 and Section 8 communities across the country, including Puerto Rico.  A number of these projects have been structured with various layers of financing including the combinations of 4% or 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, HOME, and AHP funds.  Not only have these projects included a variety of financing subsidies, but also a wide spectrum of populations including low-income families, veterans, formerly homeless, senior, and disabled households. Previously, he served as a Development Associate for Century Housing Corporation, a 501(c)(3) designated non-profit entity.
