Shawn Bolour

Shawn Bolour leads the firm’s affordable housing practice advising clients on acquisition/disposition strategy for deed restricted multi-family assets.  


He has been working in the affordable housing industry since 2011. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in acquiring or developing $200 million of affordable housing that has created or preserved over 2,000 apartment units. He has overseen the acquisition and rehabilitation of numerous Section 42 and Section 8 communities across the country, including Puerto Rico.  A number of these projects have been structured with various layers of financing including the combinations of 4% or 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, HOME, and AHP funds.  Not only have these projects included a variety of financing subsidies, but also a wide spectrum of populations including low-income families, veterans, formerly homeless, senior, and disabled households. Previously, he served as a Development Associate for Century Housing Corporation, a 501(c)(3) designated non-profit entity..
